Superior on regular carpet

This thing rocks! I have average length carpet (not shag, and not industrial business carpet, but somewhere in-between) and I have two cats, one long haired. Usually I can vacuum my whole upstairs before I have to empty the bagless container, but I had to empty it immediately after I vacuumed my living room (The waste container is just as big as any other vacuum I've had, so it's not the size. This thing is sucking up a LOT more stuff than my old bissell).

The cord is shorter than some vacuums, but as long as you have a plug in every room, you'll be fine. That also means it's less cord to wind up when you're done!

The model I bought comes with a dust wand. When you're done with the wand, you put it back into it's holster and the vacuum sucks the dust off of the wand inside it's little chamber. It also came with an accessory that is excellent for furniture and kitty towers. It's one of those brush attachments, but when you attach it to the end of the hose, suction turns these little bristles inside and it stirs up and collects the hair deep down!

I have a back porch with industrial carpet & it's always covered in cat hair and bird seed. I did get pelted in my bare feet with some of the seed while I was vacuuming, but it sucked up the hair and I wasn't using the lowest height setting.

I had to assemble it myself, but it was only 5 screws and didn't take long at all. Came with easy to follow instructions.

Got it at walmart for $80, but it is definitely worth $200 easy!
Must have for cat lovers!

I am thrilled with this vacuum!! I have four cats and this is the first vacuum I have owned that picks up ALL of the fur. I was never able to get their carpeted cat tree totally fur free before and now it looks brand new. (Tip, use the stair attachment and clean in one direction, on the diagonal, and apply a little pressure.) I also used it on their pet beds and it got off all of the fur there, too. Now I can keep the beds clean in between washings. I don't mind that the dirt cup fills up fast as that means it is doing the job!
Keeps up with four cats

Because I have four cats, I really needed a vacuum that could keep the hair off the floor. Eureka can thank Consumer Reports for my purchase. They rated it best for pet hair, and it certainly is.
Very Happy so far~handles Pom hair great

Mine came with the attatched dusting tool shown in the pictures above. I had some trouble putting it together as my hands were not strong enough to get the bolts in all the way. My kind young neighbor man came and did that for me and I finished the rest.

It feels like it is self propelled as it pulled me across the carpet. I must admit it is bigger and heaver than I thought it would be. This is what I consider a full size sweeper. I am used to my little Eureka optima that just died and this is more to handle but the pet tool is worth it. That little tool gets Pom hair off the furniture so easy. Twelve amps of suction is great and the tools are all on board. Strong suction with the tools.

It does blow out the front some but I am used to that, it is not as bad as my Optima was at all. I like that it empties form the bottom and not the top. It is worth the seventy-four bucks I paid at the local mart store. It has a 2 year warranty so that is pretty good these days. The other Optima I had 5 years and it was about fifty bucks here at Amazon, I think I got my moneys worth.

And the added bonus is it is purple my favorite color If it were a might smaller it would be a 5 star review.
